What's a SGI?
Posted on 8/7/2016
SGIs (pronounced "siggy" or "siggies") are Successes & Good Ideas - short vignettes of peer experiences, insights and initiatives. Hosted in INFORM KnowledgeWeb, these abstracts along with collateral material such as checklists and presentations, enable iVantage peers to learn from and share with one another.
What do peers share via SGIs? Click the links below (you'll be prompted to login) to see how a(n) ...
- Community hospital decreased blood transfusions in orthopedic surgeries
- ED optimized throughput
- Teaching facility improved costs and LOS in neurosurgery
- Small hospital leveraged technology to improve HCAHPS cleanliness score
- Same day cath lab discharge benefits patients and providers
Check out these SGIs and many more in the SGI library - login to INFORM and type your challenge or topic in the search box on the upper right to learn more from peers.
The flip side of learning from a SGI is sharing one! Have an improvement story to tell? Click here, type a few words about your experience and iVantage Knowledge Managers will be in touch to write your SGI!
